It definitely changes you going through a near death experience, the colours is what fascinates me. I totally understand, I live in black but the other week I bought a lilac, red and pink top for a nice change. So glad you have a really beautiful calming change of life.

Thanks Francis! The colour bit is such an about turn for me - like you I was black on black for decades. Lately I can’t bring myself to wear anything black even if it’s just a pair of leggings. I have a diamond wedding dinner to go to in a couple of weeks and that’s really stumping me when it comes to what to wear. I’d always have gone in a black dress and my ‘new’ very informal and colourful wardrobe will likely elicit some comments. But do I care? Nah, not so much! Love the sound of your new top - I bet you’ll enjoy wearing it.

🤣🤣🤣 OK you're putting ideas in my head. 😁 This could get interesting! 😉 Now I'm off to find the bright pink Addias trousers that I spotted online at the weekend. I'm thinking pink from head to toe. 🤣

Think you would love the Camino experience.

People do it for so many reasons but it is an opportunity to refocus on priorities in life as you concentrate on just taking a step at a time!

I think you may well be right! Look forward to hearing more about your experience. 🌞

I relate to the collecting stuff phase. I did the same but now know I don’t need it all and am content to slow down and enjoy simple pleasures, plants , birds etc. I guess we all go through phases evolving as we age. It’s good to be aware of our phases and evolution, while still getting the most out of our lives.

Totally agree Sue. 'Stuff' and our need for it comes and goes.
