Hold My Hand - AUDIO Book Part I
Hold My Hand: A Journey Back to Life
I love a good audio book - especially non-fiction read by the author. So I’m getting in on the act and as promised sharing the audio files containing my own voiceover of each chapter here in one central location. This post includes the Prologue and the first eleven chapters of the book that make up Part I: My Story.
How to listen:
If you’re using an old school computer and the Substack website then just hit the play button on each of the audio files below - hopefully this single collated post will save you from having to access each individual post per chapter.
If you’re an Apple user on the Substack app then you can also find all of the chapters published thus far here on a single webpage - Hold My Hand - The Book. There you can just hit the little play button on the image associated with each post to listen. Of course you can use the links below too if you prefer.
If you’re an Android user on the Substack app there seems to be a glitch and it’s defaulting to the Substack automated voiceover which definitely isn’t my dulcet tones! You can either click on the voiceover link in each post (chapter) or use the audio files below.
As always - thank you for reading or in this case I should say listening!
If you’d like to know a little more about me then head here… Oops! I forgot to introduce myself…
If you have never heard of necrotizing fasciitis aka flesh eating bacteria then please do go and read this post - it may help save your life or someone else’s one day… NECK-re-tie-zing FASH-e-i-tis... Say what?!

If listening to the content of this post made you feel something then I’d love it if you would click on the heart and add a comment about what resonated for you – it means a lot to me to hear from each of you.
If you would also be kind enough to share it that will help more people find Hold My Hand and learn more about these awful infections. Maybe one day that knowledge will save a life.
Thank you!
Every THURSDAY I’ll continue to share my ‘book in parts’ - Hold My Hand: A Journey Back to Life - chapter by chapter.
